Anger Management

While anger is a normal and healthy emotion, frequent explosive anger is not. Chronic anger is a serious psychological problem that can interfere with many aspects of one’s life, including personal relationships, business/career aspirations, and physical health. Therapy may include different treatment modalities (e.g., CBT, interpersonal, hypnotherapy) that guide the client toward discovering the root causes of their anger and their triggers, as well as teaching tools and management techniques to control anger. Therapy can also be helpful in teaching clients conflict-resolution skills and healthy emotional expression.
