Brief Personal Statement:
I am a registered clinical psychologist with a keen interest in working with individuals and couples. I especially enjoy helping people discover better ways of managing their relationships, worklife and stressors.
The most important aspect of my work is my belief in the development of a strong, supportive, therapeutic relationship within which my clients can feel safe while they address their problems . I am an active therapist using a variety of techniques including supportive therapy, short-term psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and clinical hypnosis.
• Identifying and repairing dysfunctional relationship patterns
• Anxiety disorders (social, performance, phobias), and depression
• Managing stress in the workplace
• Use of hypnosis for pain management; weight management; habit disorders; IBS and other psychosomatic disorders including headache and high blood pressure; sleep dysfunction and stress management
